The Wellness Oasis
Dr. Sheryll Joy Buhlinger DC founded The Wellness Oasis, a community of dedicated practitioners where clients experience a variety of therapeutic services in a tranquil milieu. Initially trained as a chiropractor, she works in many healing arts and modalities, using structural therapy which involves what she identifies as expansion, a term comprising a process for body, mind and spirit to attain optimum health and balance. Expansion brings new space into the body in ways that lead to recovery, renewal, and re-education, aligning with the body’s natural tendency to heal. Through the process she calls “creative coaching” Dr. Buhlinger customizes her therapies, assessing and treating the body with postural and structural techniques that facilitate movement, athletic performance, rehabilitation., post-surgery recovery and overall well-being.
Sheryll is passionate in her belief and intention for realizing human potential, bringing maximum results to her clients. Her personal kindness and compassion contribute to her view of healing as the co-created result of partnership with her client. By reducing pain and stress and increasing flexibility with joint function, clients are encouraged through new methods to manage their time and daily tasks. Her intensive work intuitively utilizes universal intelligences, opening a new “matrix” for stuck tissue. The process is non-invasive and emphasizes her client’s inherent recuperative abilities.
By stimulating areas deeper than the fascia, she engages and stretches adhesive tissue releasing the joints. Her expertise relieves pressure on nerves, treats injury and enhances general health. Clients improve posture, balance, coordination and strength.
